They came to bounce......

On Friday the king of A.D.D electro mash-up, KISSY SELL OUT, paid a visit to Sankeys as part of his current national tour bringing his particular brand of bounce and bass to the newly returned University students in the city.

Support was offered firstly by TOY BOY AND ROB DRAKE who welcomed the party people to a specially laid out main room. As the crowd filtered in the fellas offered the choicest, accessible, tunes of recent times with generous helping of Swedish House Mafia and Boys Noize thrown in, just what this Uni crowd were after.

UNION took over at 1.30 and changed the approach a little by introducing their own brand of hard, bass heavy, electro winding everybody into a jump-up frenzy before Kissy emerged from his dressing room around 3.

Upstairs support was being offered by the boys from GOLD TEETH who were laying down some attitude laden rap and hip hop fused with some of the newest dubstep cuts and back in the day classics.

Downstairs meanwhile Kissy's show took on the appearance more akin to a rock and roll gig with all eyes focused on the lighting rig and equipment set up on our main room's staging. Crowd barriers and a team of stewards were called upon to hold back the rawkus fans clambering for a look at the Radio 1 favourite from the front row.

Mashing tracks from across the genre spectrum taking in euphoric dance, gangsta rap, dubstep, drum and bass, house, even a few TV show themes, Kissy demonstrated a technical ability to be admired as he juggled tracks across 4 decks at some points.

His adoring fans lapped it up and by 5, as the music stopped, the DJ was forced to hang around to sign the obligatory autographs and pose for photos.

Big love to everybody who packed out the venue and ensured it went off at this one. See you again soon......
