Closing out the month is the Sankeys Fiesta launch party on Sat 26th January, with a totemic figure in dance music: Todd Terry. From iconic tracks including Something Goin’ On and Keep On Jumpin’, to remixing everyone from Bjork to Kylie, via Duran Duran and Michael Jackson and a spot of Ultra Nate, Todd’s mercurial touch extends across dance music. Behind the decks he is pure dynamism, a peerless club-rocking party exponent. Dutch deep house duo Detroit Swindle support, along with We Play House Recordings’ co-founder San Soda, plus Jozef K and Us & Them round the end of January off in considerable style.
